The federal govt has assured 76mcf( million cubic feet) additional gas supply to the textile industry, Geo News reported.
Federal Minister for petroleum, Dr. Aasim Hussain assured the Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), Ghauhar Ijaz .
APTMA chairman said that the textile industry would be working 5 days a week as against currently 4 days, following the availability of additional supply.
He claimed that the textile industry has already incurred a loss of $1.52 billion since the month of April this year.
