Yamaha Motorcycle plant Karachi
The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha intends to set up a plant in the biggest and industrialized city Karachi. It's a port city which also offers the biggest market in the country for motor bikes. This plan came out in a meeting of the company officials with the president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari at president house in which Senior Minister for Industries Ch. Pervaiz Ilahi, Secretary General to the President M. Salman Faruqui, Chairman BOI Saleem H. Mandviwala, Secretary Industries Aziz Ahmed Bilour were also present. The president asked all the concerned to expedite the work so that the cheap and affordable conveyance could be provided to the people.
