A famous literary figure Khalid Iqbal Yasir, a poet and a writer , has been transferred from Pakistan Academy of Letters and posted as Director General Urdu Science Board. He assumed the charge of the Board here on Friday,26th July,2011.
Mr. Khalid worked as DG National Museum of Science of Technology and DG National Educational Equipment Centre as well . He has also performed the duties of DG Urdu Science Board in the past for eight years.
He is an eminent writer and poet and has written a number of books . Federal govt has awarded him “Tamgha-i-Imtiaz” recently in honor of his literacy services .
