A survey was conducted to know the ranking of computer science schools , colleges and universities of Pakistan. In this survey computer and IT professionals, engineers, professors, students and career counselors participated. The results are as follows:
FAST-NUCES was declared the best university for Computer Science in Pakistan.
NUST stood second.
LUMS computer science department at third.
Peshawar University comes next.
Career in computer science:
Today computer is used in almost every business, industry, trade, communication, governmental and non governmental organizations. It is presumed that by the year 2012, more than one and half million computer professionals will be required in different fields mentioned above. Its technology of the future, business, communication, banking and documentation with government,shopping and almost everything will happen through internet so there will be a great demand for computer experts and lucrative career will be available in every walk of life.
