ICI Pakistan Limited Soda Ash Plant at Khewra

ICI Pakistan Limited has announced that it will make an investment of Rs 2 billion in its Soda Ash Plant at Khewra in order to overcome its energy deficiency due to gas load shedding affecting plant output and efficiency. ICI plans to install boilers for steam generation based sophisticated Coal Fired Technology. The project will hopefully be completed and commissioned in 19 months. With its commissioning , the Soda Ash Plant having a capacity to produce 350,000 tonnes/year would be better placed then in its output.
