Rescue service 786 set up in Baluchistan

CM Baluchistan Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani has given direction for the establishment of 'Rescue 786' service across all the province and asked the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to prepare its PC1 so that the residents of all districts in case of an emergency or natural disaster could get immediate help from within their respective districts.

It was decided in a meeting called to review the restructuring of Provincial Disaster Management Authority.Giving directives of preparing the PC-1 of 'Rescue Service 786b', he said medial staff, engineers and other technical experts should be included in all district offices of the PDMA.

CM emphasized upon the PDMA authorities to take expertise and other assistance from the volunteer organizations into the rescue activities in the province. "Provincial govt would bring the PDMA on modern lines and be equipped with with latest machinery and equipment," he directed.

Chief Secretary Ahemd Baksh Lehri, Home Secretary Zafar Baloch and DG PDMA were also present in the meeting.
