US imposed three times more tariff on Pakistani textiles

USA has placed tariffs on Pakistani textiles that are 3 times the rate applied to most countries, Bruce Riedel reports in his article ‘Three ways to help Pakistan’ published by the Newsweek Pakistan in its July 8 edition.
Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer and senior fellow at Brookings institution, Washington DC, adds, “A level playing filed for Pakistani products is a national security imperative for the United States."
Pakistan has suffered the most in the war on terror but even the coalition support fund has been withheld by Washington on lame excuses. There seems a clear rift between both the countries and that will not help anyone.
