President restored commissionerate system in Karachi

President Asif Ali Zardari has ordered Sindh govt to restore commissionerate system in Karachi, sources revealed.
The decision was made at a meeting at president house chaired by the President and PM Yusuf Raza Gilani and Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza and Pir Mazharul Haq were also present on the occasion.The decision was taken keeping in view the deteriorating law and order situation in financial hub of Pakistan. MQM had always opposed such restoration of commissionerate system in the city and in this regard core committees of MQM and PPP had held many times meetings in the past.
