Member of the federal govt's planning commission, Dr Samar Mubarak Mand said that gas loadshedding is not the solution to the country’s energy problems.
Addressing the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he said that the biggest problem industries are facing is insufficient energy.
He added that if air compressors are made available then electricity and gas could be produced in Thar from August.
It is strange that the govt is taking any interest to solve the energy crisis due to some ulterior motives and the masses and industries are crying on load shedding. Capacity of IPPs is lying idle but not being used for unknown reasons.
Dr. Mubarak said that the solution for the problem is coal gas station but the implementation of policies and projects is weak in this regard by the govt. Govt seems very inefficient.
