NEPRA allows KESC to raise electricity tariff by Rs 2.79/unit

Increase in power generation cost,power theft and severe load shedding in Karachi, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday allowed an increase in power tariff of Rs 2.79/unit to Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) under fuel adjustment for the 3rd quarter of last fiscal year (Jan-Mar) 2010-11.
