New twist in Safraz Shah murder case,police investigation officer produces genuine pistol with live bullets


Police Investigation Officer (IO)Zulfiqar, in Sarfraz shah's killing by Rangers case, on Tuesday produced a new twist by presenting an original pistol along with 2 live bullets and 1 empty shell before the Anti Terrorism Court.
ATC judge Bashir Ahmad Khoso testified first IO Sub-Inspector before the court. The court also reserved its judgment on an application filed by the Rangers personnel, seeking the copies of the joint investigation team’s report and adjourned the proceeding till Wednesday (today).
The first IO reported that he was on duty on 8th May , 2011 at police station Boat Basin where SI Raja Javed received a message that a dacoit was injured by Rangers personnel's firing and was admitted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, so please send some official for further legal action. Later, he went to the hospital for further the legal proceedings.
He said he received Sarfaraz Shah’s body with two bullet wounds, one on the right thigh and other on the left hand.
Later, Sindh Rangers personnels handed over a pistol of 30 bore along with 2 live bullets and 1 empty shell, Rs 750 in cash and 1 mobile phone of the suspect to the said police station.
